For this new collaboration, we went to meet The Alchemist and its creator, Yasmine, a tattoo artist.

In her baroque lair located in Tongeren, Belgium, she introduced us to her world and behind the scenes of the creation of the exclusive design that she imagined and designed for our TATTOO boxer shorts. Interview!

How did you discover the world of tattooing?

I was a Fashion student, and I discovered tattooing as an artistic discipline which fascinated me, because I consider it a great honor to put an indelible mark on someone's body,…

When did you open your salon?

I opened my salon in Tongeren in September 2019. After 4 years of activity, I think that having your own tattoo salon allows you to express your personality even more and really show others who you are, what you love.

What do you like best about your job?

The most beautiful experience of my job is the connection with my clients, it's so magical, I can feel every emotion during the tattoo ritual, it's such a nice feeling and it's truly amazing to transform someone's body. 'a work of art... it's the best job in the world!

Where do you find your inspiration?

I find my inspiration in ancestral Indian motifs, in Indonesian culture with masks for example… nature also inspires me a lot.

What did you like about the collaboration with the Loïc Henry Underwear brand?

In this collaboration with you, the combination between this passion for fashion and now my career as a tattoo artist, it's truly the perfect marriage... and it's the best way to express myself and practice my art .
